I very much dislike the media and the way it vindicates the families of convicted murderers. His father is the scum of the earth, but his mother was one of humanities best. She helped me through some tough trials in my life. Aunt claudia lived with our grandmother and I during this horrified event, while she was eaten up with cancer. My heart goes out to the families of Danny's victims. I have been looking for u for some time, I do not talk to our father very much even though he lives only 10 miles from me. In my quest i came across this site. Hopefully u look back and read this. Danny was the bad apple in our family, dont just look at the bad side we have a lot of military heroes in our family, dating all the way back to the Revolutionary war. My fiance is related to Rudolph Hess (Adolf Hitler's Deputy who was tried at Nuremburg for war crimes and given life in prison) so she knows how you feel. All i can say is that there are an immeasurable number of factors that go into making a person do such heinous things, none of which you could ever have possibly had any influence or control over. My mom gave me the book that was published in 1995 and after reading it i can only say to all the people involved, i am so sorry, and even though i never met him, i still feel like i've known him. His death wasnt even close to what thoes victims went through, and i know justice wasnt served, but all i can say is just turning 18 and realizing who i am related to is a big shock, and i am at a loss of words. sorry.
