Website Expansion

For those of you that frequent our site, it will come as no surprise to you that we have expanded the articles we were/are planning to write. We had always planned on running two individual websites – one dedicated to case files and forensics (lifetakers.com) and one dedicated to the psychology of killers and general abnormal psychological disorders (bloodsoaked-memories.com). This has proved harder to do than expected; in saying that, we have decided to merge both websites as we hadn’t even begun adding content to the second, and given the amount of time, effort, money and coding/design involved in ‘re-inventing the wheel’ we have decided to simply alter this website slightly and start adding the content here instead.

Crime Scene Basics – First Responder & Forensics

The various forensic disciplines may run a vast number of tests once evidence has been collected from a crime scene but there is an immense amount of work that needs to be conducted before they get to this stage. This article will focus on those procedures and the job of first responders, whether they are police, paramedics or other emergency services, as well as the roles of crime scene investigators once they are called out.
